Indian cooking is the cultivation of spices and the cooking technique both.
If you look at the wiki, you'll see that the plants that make many of these spices can be found OUTSIDE of India. Yet indian cooking developed only in India. And places like Jamaica and UK got it not independently, but after Indians travelled or migrated there.
