In an ideal world, what would the legal age of consent be? What do you think society should do with pedophiles?

18 is an arbitrary number. Age of consent laws vary greatly from country to country. In Bahrain, anyone under 21 is jailbait and being attracted to them would legally make you a pedo. In Nigeria, it's anyone under 11. In Saudi Arabia, there's no age of consent at all but sex outside of marriage is strictly forbidden. Do you think it's abnormal for a man to be attracted to females under a certain age?

Age of consent is a stupid creation. If she gave her consent it doesn't matter what her age was, if she didn't that was rape and rape on a minor should be punished very strictly. Also consent should be signed at a lawyers office to avoid any further implications. On the other hand in my ideal world girl should get married at age of 16 and every sexual contact outside the marriage should be punished by death
