I've been curious about some of the shows people talk about but I couldn't bring myself to do it for fear of damaging my own self-image even further. I'm 28. I guess I was wrong in my title because I watched Pokemon as a kid and that's considered anime right? Dragon Ball Z and Avatar were never really big in Scandinavia growing up. Weeb-culture is relatively small here and is heavily stigmatized. It seems like an American thing. All I know about anime is Naruto, Super Sayyan and Attack of the Titans. Also, something I've noticed which might not be true is that a lot of blackcels in the US love anime for some reason. Is this observation true?
