I'm old enough to remember the first UFCs when it was unrestricted. I actually bought UFC2 on payperview in high school. That's how old I am. I was an athelete so I was curious about which martial art was the best.

Weight classes make it so more people can fight. But if it was unrestricted the manlets would disappear. Sorry bros.

Fights like that are divided by weight, so in most cases, it's better to be shorter than your opponent since you'll be roughly the same weight as him but shorter, which means you'll be bulkier and stronger. The only advantage taller people have is better reach.

But IRL, a taller person will very likely be also heavier, so they will not only have better reach but also be stronger and potentially bulkier than a manlet.

In a fight between a 1,90, 100 kg tallfag and a 1,60, 60 kg manlet, the former will statistically destroy the latter, unless a significant superior fighting skill or lucky/hitting first factor takes place.
