Lonely people are more likely to get heart disease, strokes, anxiety, depression, dementia … Add it all up, and they’re 26% more likely to die early

The Campaign to End Loneliness (CEL), :lul: more usefully, defines it as “a subjective, unwelcome feeling of lack or loss of companionship. It happens when there is a mismatch between the quantity and quality of the social relationships that we have, and those that we want.”

“People who are often or always lonely,” the foundation noted, “have a higher risk of developing certain mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression. This kind of loneliness is also associated with increased thoughts of suicide.”

“Loneliness and social isolation increase the risk for premature death by 26% and 29% respectively,” he wrote. “More broadly, lacking social connection can increase the risk for premature death as much as smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day. In addition, poor or insufficient social connection is associated with increased risk of disease, including a 29% increased risk of heart disease and a 32% increased risk of stroke. Furthermore” – you’re spoiling us, Dr Murthy – “it is associated with increased risk for anxiety, depression and dementia. Additionally, the lack of social connection may increase susceptibility to viruses and respiratory illness.”

loneliness is “corrosive”, “eats away at your self-image”, “makes you question the value of your life”

Inceldom: Discussed

Good, means it will end sooner

That's good news tbh.

I have not left the house in a decade, I have 0 friends and don't have a phone, I also smoke more than 15 a day most days and have been doing it for 20+ years. I really really hope I have a stroke SOON.

Relationships aren't a need, inkwell! All you need is a hobby. :soy:

Is the name CEL ironic, or on purpose?

it's over and done for us

Good, no pussy no breath.

I feel like I’m going to live a long, miserable life anyway because the world wants to prolong my suffering. I will easily outlive sexhavers tbh

I don't know if I believe this one.

Yes, I believe loneliness speeds up dementia and mental decline.

But, I can't buy that I would live longer because I have some cunt in my life who adds endless stress.

Lifefuel motherfucker.

It's just so stupid. The two ingredients for lonely people is being poorly socialized and having low value. People who had no friends and were never asked to go or do anything, and eventually stopped seeking doing anything social out because they'd learned from experience that no one wanted them when they did go out live unhealthy lifestyles.

Well duh because I’m going to rope sooner or later

we are social beings it makes sense
even though redpill fags tell us to do it all on our own but have gfs/wives
