Somtimes Employers can be like foids. There a picky, one dimensional shit twinkle. Case in point I ended up back at the begging as my electric journey has ended. Literally.

When I was in VA, the one trade I wanted to be in was plumbing or ideally PL02. Witch in WA means residential plumbing. Well in a attempt to up my resume mom sent me to trade school for HVAC despite HVAC and plumbing being way the fuck apart and despite people's thoughts of the 2 being similar. Well fun fact my trade school required me to take as they called it "CBE 101" or a electrical class before touching any HVAC. Well that class gave me the idea of being a EL02 instead and a year later I decided to go and well, pull out of the plumbing apprentiship and hop into the IBEW 46 band wagon. Small problem. Unlike UA32, IBEW46 and all other electrical/HVAC companies are picky little bitches. As in they are so damn picky. When it came my PLO2 trainee interview, the best I gave them was these "track to trade" certificates from a benifit of Lowes. And MATH 95 results. When it came to my trainee interview at IBEW 46 to be a EL02 trainee I made and brought a fucking mock electrical sub-pannel box and they not only gave me a worst rank then the plumbers union but also unlike the plumbers union the rank got worst wile the plumber ranked got closer to 1st place. Why?

Because it turns out comparing Plumbing vs electric is like comparing a normal woman vs giga Stacy. So much more people wanted to be a EL apprentice over PL apprentice it was fucking insane. The competition gap was so fucking massive. And the cherry on top IBEW charged 75$ to make the application. UA32 didn't charge shit for the application.

As for why I wanted to be a electritian, simply put it was less construction, less time fucking with sewer shit and not as back breacking. Yeah I would have to deal with attics and crawls spaces but that applys to any 02 trade in general.

This shit reminds me of this thing I think called the McDonald's effect were one fucker see a McDonald's and see how profitable it is. So he opens his own Burgure joint without knoticing that a billion other fuckers also built there own burgers joint so his competition is sent through the fucking stratosphere. Same with electrical. It's a damn shame. I shoudve stayed with PL02 instead of making the leap of faith that is EL02 as I am still at fucking amazon dealing with froste bite on my toes dead ass. And if you wanna get into the trades. Unless you got a magic shortcuts I don't know about just go for plumbing. Specifically residential plumbing as the competitive nature will make PL02 applicants more like normies and less like trade-cels such as me. Dead ass.

And to add salt on the wounds, I blew like 1000$ into electrical tools including a Fluke T6-1000 pro. Damn thing is 300$. Good night my fellow-cels. Don't let the bullshit byte.

Ideas aren't original anymore.

So you're telling me being an electrician is filled with normies

Study all the stuff bro.

That way you cover more bases and can deal with potential good events...

My mechanical engineering shit went nowhere. I should have done heavy equipment operations too! And underwater welding!

Just don't be electric theory

It has extreme competition. I'm sure more fuckers are into college or finding a retail job then fucking electrical. But electrical is the most sought out trade compared to anything else.

Can't you put out posters in your area and advertise yourself? Electricians are frequently needed. They would chose you because you can probably do it cheaper than a company

You should find clients, not work for a company as an electrician. There are a lot of retards nowadays who can't even change a light bulb

Small problem, in WA state(IDK about US) it's a misdemeanor to work on electrical without proper licensing. Though I accidently switched on myself before finding out of the law and no charges so far.

I do seem to leave any clients though clients are rare nice and satisfyed.
