The common response we get after suggesting our genetic looks is what people treat us according to is to find other ways to be appealing. Go to the gym, be nice, have personality etc with the expectation being that people will place similar value on these things as your looks when this couldn't be further from the truth.

In fact these things are also dependent on your looks.

When they say they like a man with big biceps, they are imagining an attractive man flexing his arms and us doing it is just overcompensating for our unfortunate face and height.

When they say they want princess treatment, they are imagining an attractive man giving them roses and us doing it will have r/niceguys telling us we are entitled

When they say they want a confident guy, they are imagining an attractive man doing cold approach and us doing it is harassment

I know this is kinda water but the fact this is still public consensus to me is incredible. Mainly because these people who tell you these copes will then themselves subconsciously judge you according to how you look doing it. And then they tell you you are the incel weirdo for believing they think like that. On top of that most men believe this too despite the quality of life for the average man declining year on year. Just pretend it isn't happening theory lmao

This is true. Whenever they talk about the traits they desire in a man—a baseline level of attractiveness is automatically assumed, for men below that baseline are inconceivable to them; those men are not men. Chad is presupposed when the word man is stated, and this is true in many other contexts as well. This is precisely the reason why self-reported data—especially data reported by women—is unreliable and prone to significant bias.
