3 weeks ago one of my grandmas neighbors hired me to mow the lawn. Well turns out the man of the house owns a 1999 ford ranger with a manual. The same model and year as the ford ranger I drove last year but owned by a different person. And its not as far fucking north as Mulkotio. I problably misspelled that.

Any who Raul or its pranpunced Ru-el, was willing to give me lessons. And well it went WAAAAYYYYY better then when I treid it a year and a half ago up north. First off Raul didnt spam me with "GAS GAS GAS!!!!". Instead he had me master the biting point. Learn it. Master it. And because of that I was able to not only drive far more smoother, but I didnt even stall the truck at all. Granted I had 2 close calls and grinded a tiny bit of first gear. But thats my ADHD speacking.

I can now even do turns from a stop as well. Granted he didnt have me do any hills yet but Id imagine it would he a bit different.

But the trick to the truck is to find the biting point. Granted Raul described it as somthing else. Forgot what he said but its basicly the biting point.

But yeah I am feeling fucking great. And tired because it is hot as shit out damn place has me all coocked to shit.

Im happy to encounter a fellow spergcel :feelsCowboy:

my dad used to have a honda in 6-speed manual that he tried teaching me on but he sold it years ago, now i wish i could have learned fully

Yea, and tbh modern manual cars have hill assist that holds the break for you till you get in gear and give it gas

My dream car is a 1st gen CRV with a manual transmission. Alternativly I could go for a toyota tacoma with a manual and slap in a canopy. Make it a manuall suv that will outlast me.

I’ve only driven manual motorcycles, would like to go drive a manual car but never did.

Funilly enough, the only manuals I driven were a truck. And the only trucks I driven were a manuall.

I failed my driving exam 3 times. Spergcel with dyspraxia

My first vehicle was a mañual... "Three on the tree!"

Ofc, I learned how to drive on a four speed vw mañual...

I like how safe they are on winter roads. More control and all that.

Bravissimo on you're own time with it.

Find them or grind them!
