Its true you guys wouldn't believe in the 90's the type of low-tier normies who ended up getting live-in girlfriends. And remember the obesity epidemic was just getting going then, so getting a girlfriend usually meant an actually normal weight white girlfriend.

Back then I was playing Super Nintendo & Dungeons & Dragons, basically every minute I wasn't going to highschool or sleeping. It was brutal when even complete dorks I knew ended up getting girlfriends and moving on. It kept getting smaller my circle of friends who I gamed with.. it was the guys who weren't yet with a girlfriend, until one by one they left until finally the last guy met a girl 2 years after highschool, ended up marrying her and I was all alone.
