Talked to a polak neighbor of mine a single man in his early 60's living in some small appartment working construction full time. I asked him whether he has a family and of course : "my wife divorced me and my daughter screwed me over" is the response i got i didn't want to be rude so i didn't insist to question him about further info and he remained ellusive surely cause it's a painful subject.

And yet he's not bitter at all despite me never seeing him in any type of company, always sympathetic smiling and upbeat, he even told me he's still looking for a foid. That's the old "toxic masculinity" they keep talking about, for an old debris of the "patriarchy" this guy really doesnt fit within the tale

I think in the end we're just more lucid and systemic oriented than them that's it, while they still live in the moment, especially if we have seen this type of shit happen to our fathers, uncles etc, idk why we should accept it as the status quo.

No, the average guy is a shithead who only cares about social status, money, sex, sports and cars. He has little to no awareness, barely uses his brain, works some midwit job where he acts as an automaton with limited decision making, struggles to get sex and relationships and would give an arm and a leg for it, has no ethics or moral sense, follows whatever is popular and his social circle tells him to.

I think the funny and paradoxal thing here is that the "old society", that is a pre-postmodern, pre-neoliberal one, produced this type of individuals much more often cause simplicity and modesty whether of heart or finances was not a vice.

One thing he told me too is that nowadays specifically everyone chases money like crazy. Why is that though ? With foids emancipation came the higher living standards + with death of community by killing the family unit people are more anxious so are afraid of a simple life that's it.

Depends what you mean by it. Average guy/joe was always some non pretentious blue collar guy or some mid job in my mind, married or not. Especially with all the divorces going on : him/my dad/uncle were average guys before being discarded. The difference between us and them is that we got discarded from the get go
