Venting It’s crazy that UC Santa Barbara is the biggest party school on the planet - Isla Vista is expensive and Santa Barbara is very conservative

I hope people understand this about Santa Barbara, it is an exclusive strip along the California coast, surrounding Isla Vista are communities filled with old conservative white people and Oprah Winfrey.

I have actually been to Santa Barbara, and specifically Isla Vista - it is a very isolated place. It amazes me that UC Santa Barbara continually ranks as the top “party school” in the nation (and therefore the world to be honest).

It’s incredible that UC Los Angeles, UC Berkeley, San Diego State University, University of Southern California, and Stanford can’t rank higher than UC Santa Barbara when it comes to partying.
