It also seems like what constitutes "getting something" is really inconsistent and full of issues. The idea that looks don't matter or matter as much because women occasionally briefly settle for or hook up with 5-6 guys isn't really combatting the blackpill. There is some notion that because some women might settle for you if the stars are aligned then it was within your capability to keep her, much less have a fulfilling relationship. Also, just because some truecels may be so beaten down by desperation that such a life is desired, if they ever actually had it, they would feel as empty as they do now and would still be taking the blackpill.
Seconding this. Being 5/10 with no other benefits will not get you a GF in 2018. Not even close. You have to be 7/10 facially minimum with no other halos (height, money, super-NT) to have a chance. At 5/10, you have to have the above halos just to have a shot.
If you see 4/10 or 5/10 men in the rating thread (I have a secret theory this is a containment thread but that's for another post), that's because that doesn't cut it anymore. It may have cut it 20 years ago, but not today. Not with feminism, tinder, or white knights inflating SMVs.

I disagree on that one. I think a lot of truecels would obviously not have all their problems fixed through sex/relationships/validation, but that would very likely have the potential to give them lifefuel to fix the other shit that might be wrong. Sex is a big part of life, some men get stuck on it and it causes lack of motivation for other stuff too.
To the point you disagree on, I will concede that I am assuming a lot in my argument. For example, I look at someone like @catfishman23 and his past lays, yet I see why he identifies with the blackpill, if technically speaking he is not an incel. Just getting those hookups has left him feeling empty and unfulfilled. To your point though, his self esteem is almost certainly higher than that of a truecel's, so he would at least more resilient to feelings of roping or LDAR, which is worth something.

More than one way to end up incel. If anything, my situation only makes me hate more the men who froze me out of life growing up; still doesn't absolve foids of anything. If anyone, among countless individuals, had just been a little less of a cunt, I wouldn't be stuck in sexual poverty. Just needed a chance and could never get one.
