An incel forum is run by a Milanese man who calls himself Anakin and is quick to admit: "Many users have underlying psychological issues, trauma, misfortune, dysfunctional families, and all sorts of problems." He asks all of them for donations, and for €20 you can become a "premium user" with access to special content . There are dozens of incel sites, all seemingly autonomous, but in reality they're a network that often shares authors and administrators . One of the most popular publishes an article titled " The Privilege of Rape ," which states that "the rare occurrence of being raped rewards a woman daily with a whole series of benefits that a man can only dream of. To put it in financial terms, there's a very favorable risk-reward ratio, which makes being a woman an excellent investment." The site has a Facebook page with 16,000 subscribers , who also receive articles from Diego Moro , who runs a blog with a thousand subscribers where he writes that "women, by their very nature, are beings designed to survive through deception, fraud, and lies ." Moro's blog, in turn, shares the " Manifesto of Italian Incels " (in which he "denies the theory of patriarchy"), composed and published by another forum with nearly a million visitors . Among the administrators of the latter is the influencer who calls himself " Red Priest ," who also has a YouTube channel where he explains that "women are less assertive and strong, and therefore it is normal that they do not reach positions of power ." To curb the ferocity of the comments, he has established a code of conduct: it is forbidden to write about wanting to commit suicide or incite others to commit suicide; it is forbidden to write about wanting to commit massacres or incite others to commit them (thank goodness). He tries to monetize by asking his followers for donations .
