It's only a matter of time. The boomers are in their last throes. Gen X will be running the country for a couple of decades then it will be the millennials turn to run the show.
It absolutely terrifies me just thinking about the kind of shit millennials will do when they're in charge. Millennials are extremely authoritarian, anti-constitution, and anti-free speech...especially the most politically active ones. Just imagine the kind of laws numales and tumblrinas would pass if they were in charge, because in 20-30 years they will be.
They'll probably have laws against things like "mansplaining" "manspreading" "cultural appropriation" and other shit...with very harsh prison sentences for offenders. I'm not exaggerating, this strongly motivates me to try and wageslave even harder and save up every penny so I can expat to somewhere in eastern europe and escape before I end up in prison for some thought crime.
California is literally a living example of this right now! Recently California passed laws criminalising people for using the wrong gender pronouns in certain professions punishable by a fine and up to 6 months in prison. Yet also removed all criminal sanctions for knowingly spreading HIV. A San Francisco jury also cleared a multiple deportee and illegal migrant who had stolen a federal officers firearm from his vehicle and then decided to fire it in the direction of a seal on the waterfront, the bullet struck and killed a woman instead. He was cleared on the charge of involuntary manslaughter. He would have got more time in prison for actually killing a seal than a woman because he was an illegal immigrant and she was white.
This is only the early stages of this.
You have Canada which is further along in this process where just exposing students in university to a debate on a public broadcaster between two professors technically constitutes a human rights violation punishable by the full force of the law. The local snowflakes also protested the concept of free speech at this university and said they were being silenced. Despite the fact the media was literally there giving them a platform. The police in Toronto a few years ago also arrested a man and subjected him to a trial where he could have gone to prison for a year for criticising a feminist on Twitter who was trying to get her followers to brigade some kid who made a stupid flash game to do with Anita Sarkeesian.
In Australia where just because feminist film maker Cassie Jaye wanted to show a film where she literally just interviewed people about the men's rights movement (including other feminists) was viciously attacked by the Australian media and had venues refuse to show it or host people involved with it because the film promoted "hate" and "sexism".
You have countries like my native Britain where the police have arrested people for literally making jokes on twitter. Meanwhile thousands of jihadists who have fought and committed atrocities in Syria walk the streets and are even being moved up the list for government provided housing while several of them have been caught planning or have actually committed atrocities. Our home secretary also plans to pass laws making it illegal to watch "far right videos" online unless you are a journalist. So who gets to decide what constitutes "far right" and who exactly counts as a "journalist" and who gets to define that. They also passed a law making thousands upon thousands of government employees able to access your internet history at will. The mayor of London is an Islamic extremist who seems to care more about waging war on people who burn wood to keep warm in winter and people who have diesel cars and thinks people have to accept being blown up just because of "muh diversity" and his dark age death cult that people call the religion of peace with a straight face.
In the UK the leader of our opposition party is a committed Marxist who is friends with a who's who of global terror organisations including the IRA and Hamas. The young people seem to think Marxism is the answer to their problems despite the fact that it killed nearly 100 million people in the 20th century. Venezuela which has the largest confirmed oil reserves of any country right now. Yes, Venezuela has a shade under 300 billion barrels of oil where KSA has something in the region of 267 billion in confirmed reserves and the country is literally starving. The big economic success story of the past 20 years was China which literally got where it did by ending Marxism and liberalising its economy. You had people crying after the brexit vote and saying the UK was "fascist" for choosing democracy. They literally do nothing but circle jerk and cry about how their lives are ruined now Britain is leaving the EU and this country will collapse even though dozens of other successful countries are not in the EU and have far more trade opportunities outside of it.
Especially among the so called "educated" you literally have multiple incidents of students at these leftist universities going on orgies of violence and burning down campuses and physically assaulting people because someone slightly to the right of Lenin is going to speak. You have crowds of students and young people pulling down statues of men dead for more than a century and are so ignorant they don't even understand hardly a thing about their own history and think denying it will make everything better.
Here in Britain we had students campaigning for the statues of Rhodes to be pulled down even though the campus and opportunities they get literally only exists because of Rhodes. A man who was pretty progressive for his time! We also had students demanding Nelsons column be torn down because he stood for white supremacy and the Royal Navy was built on the trade in slaves. Missing the fact that Nelsons victory later paved the way for the British to use its diplomatic clout and Naval muscle to abolish the trade in slaves.
Young people literally don't understand free speech at all. They seem to think living in a world where the state expends resources taking people to court to decide if you can or cannot say something is a good idea. Who after Muslim terrorist atrocities say things like "build bridges not walls" after dozens of people are blown up or mown down and then literally walk over bridges that have giant concrete barricade walls on to protect people from being run over. The response of our esteemed Marxist opposition leader after the last London attack was that we need to take measures to clamp down on people being able to hire trucks. Does he have any idea how many of them are hired out everyday, how many of them are on the road or owned. The many possible reasons people own them? So instead of just being able to own a Transit or a Sprinter van like we have for decades now we would have to file paperwork to justify it just because a bunch of illegal migrant terrorists are filling up our country?
None of it makes any sense.
