Truecel- deformed or mentally handicapped male incapable of initiating romantic contact with females. Likely there are desperate older or obese women out there who would do it in the right context, but the former is incapable of reaching that level.

Mostly everyone else- desires an intimate relationship, but unwilling to degrade themselves in “close friendships” with members of the opposite sex, generally because their romantic attachment renders a lack of parity in which they don’t really get much out of it (the folly of a nice guy friendship, we can talk about this in another thread). I suspect some are even higher status than beta orbiter, but refuse sex on moral grounds. I myself gave up on relationships way back because I was saving myself for marriage, and twice, the girl accepted the terms after a talk but cheated behind my back.

Back to the topic at hand— Casual sex has also knocked a ton of average to above-average men down since most girls can now cycle through the most attractive males (and vice-versa) via the university system, or hookup aps like tinder, with lays tricking many women (and a small minority of men) into believing their value is higher than expected.
