I don't see how drunken hookups are anything other than degeneracy. It used to be an expectation that when you got married, you would share all the firsts, whether they be emotional, physical, or sexual, together. Now our culture disgraces itself by allowing people to do everything imaginable, whether it be sexual or otherwise, with numerous other people before marriage, thereby devaluing the marriage. And, yes, the marriage is ABSOLUTELY devalued. 50% end in divorce, and many others are reported as being unhappy.[/font]

One word......Hedonism. Probably the only useful lesson I learned in British Literature on the subject, when we had to read this book, The picture of Dorian Grey. It really does slowly eat you away into something unrecognizable.
