I'm under the impression most of those guys post a cragslist ad, find some amateur actresses and pay them, and then stage the video.

I believe that most youtube pranks and pick up approach channels are staged. That way they can get whatever reactions they want and don't have to worry about legal liability. It's particularly obvious when the people are acting wooden and fake, and when channels have totally ridiculous shit like guys getting kissed by random women. Even chad doesn't get kissed by random women on the street like that.

Fat Jew Ethan Klein did some funny videos about this where he pointed out obvious fakeness in those channels and even interviewed a woman who was an actress in a fake youtube pick up artist prank. Look up the word "prank" on h3h3 productions (youtube).
