Western Europe is much more complex and advanced. The superiority of Ancient Greece over the civilizations of its time is much less than the superiority of Western Europe in its time.

Praising your father doesn't mean he's more successful than you, you're still exaggerating the value of laying the foundation for something, it's definitely a valuable thing but you shouldn't exaggerate it, when talking about the superiority of Western Europe you shouldn't just talk about imperialism, gunpowder is the foundation of military technologies, he's like Plato in that regard, we should thank them for laying the foundation but there's no need to let them fuck our asses
