This is not malware. The mossad just replaced these pagers with others that had explosive devices planted in them before they were shipped to Lebanon.

Israel killed a few top Hezbollah guys a few years ago by targeting their cellphones. Cellphones transmit and communicate with cellphone towers constantly, whether you are making calls or not. They even communicate with fake cellphone towers.

So if you know Abu Incel Al Hezbollahi's phone, and you have a predator drone with a missile under one wing and a cell tower emulator under the other wing, all you have to do is fly over Abu's town and his phone will give the drone targeting co-ordinates.

That's why Hezbollah went to pagers... pagers don't transmit, they just listen. So they should be much more secure. (Unless the sneaky sneaky mossad finds a way to put bombs in the pagers.)
