I plan on traveling alone later this year. I have traveled before, but it'd be the first time going on vacation alone. Those are valid concerns but fuck I'm doing it anyway

I’ve been to 17 countries traveling alone. You’re gonna have a shit ton of free time that you need to fill if you do it. Not just time on planes and trains and busses and shit. But you’re gonna need to plan things for the entire day to do unless you wanna LDAR in your hotel room because you don’t have friends to entertain you. Also, if you go to any restaurants you’ll be eating alone. Sometimes, the restaurant people are really rude to me when I go there alone. Other times it can be good and really quick. Oh and you’ll constantly be getting mogged by tourists who are traveling with their hot gfs. Everywhere you go there will be young couples, young chadlites with friends, young families, etc.

That’s pretty much all the bad shit I can think of from my experiences. I still prefer it to traveling with people because I like to be alone. I hate sharing a room with someone and having to pee in the middle of the night but you don’t wanna get up and make noise. I hate having to do shit I don’t wanna do just because the person I’m with is doing it. I get sick of being so close to someone after a while

this but imo there is also a sense of serenity that comes from traveling alone. U can travel at your own pace, see stuff at your own pace. While if u do it with others, most of the time they try to move fast and not read stuff. or sometimes spam too many picturesm

I travelled alone to another country twice (US and Wales). When I told other people they were weirded out but it's doable. Sometimes it gets a bit boring but it's better than LDARing and you get to know somewhere different. It just has a bad reputation like going to the cinema alone or eating alone at restaurants, just don't give a fuck about what hypersocial normies think
