A steady stream of money is critical for a successful life to avoid poverty and an uncomfortable agonizing death on the streets. A basic income is needed for survival, so its importance cannot be understated. However, beyond a basic income theres no need to make money a focal point of life, because life is not MATERIAL OBJECTS but it is EXPERIENCES.

Personality matters ONLY if youre already attractive, or borderline attractive to a girls particular preference in "look" in a man. Eg preferring Ryan Gosling look to Tom Cruise look. If you look closer to one or the other, you may or may not have your foot in the door with a girl, and good personality will edge you over into "dateable" territory.

ER is an extreme and unnecessary reaction to the life youve been given. There is no excuse which would necessitate or validate going ER, it is not ever necessary, its a psychotic persons individual choice.
