Those of you who have read my rants about working in a small company knows that I make the connections of a company desperately seeking value inflation (or doing poorly financially) to kowtowing to customers, even when the engineering capacity/expertise is not up to the task.
And I'm not gonna be naive to the donation/premium membership thing. In a free platform, only a tiny portion of the users will buy the level ups, let alone donating for free, especially on a site for incels, many of which are NEETs with low disposable income.
The site relies on bulletproofing hosting on freer places like Iceland or Russia which do not care about the Western internet violations as much, or do not have the resources to investigate the sites.
So that brings me to the question. What's with the constant advertisements, looksmax, and gambling (casino) ads pouring to the DMs?
I'm worried about the financial health of the site, as many brocels are as well.
Also, I have a theory that incels.is generate the worst revenue compared to sanctionedsuicide and looksmax.
Our site is literally scrunitized by the FBI, of which, other than shady money-laundering platforms from Russia, will not advertise with us.
SS and looksmax are relatively mainstream and looksmax has a train load of influencers selling courses, creating a partnership with clavicular and others (I fucking hate looksmaxxers, but I'm not blind to the fact that we need money).
If a site is shutdown for downsizing, I wonder if we or sanctionedsuicide would be shutdown first, as we are equally controiversal and paints a target on Master's back (I deal with legal liability apps that I built for my company everyday and it's stressful, trust me).
