Depends where you live. In the UK there are a variety of benefits that one can claim (UC, LCWRA, PIP, housing benefit, free bus pass, cheap gym). I don't get PIP but I get the others. If I got even the lowest rate of PIP I'd have over £1000 per month untaxed spending money rather than £800-£900, in addition to getting 70%+ of my rent paid as I do.

I don't make that much from gambling but I win more than I lose. It's good for a few hundred every once in a while on net. But it's a niche strategy, for most it will lose them money.

You have to be frugal, cut out most unnecessary expenditure. If you do that you can afford escorts. Some will even give you a discount if you're on welfare and a decent client, especially as you're better at filling their "dead hours" than wagie clients are, and your demand is more responsive to price reductions (you may be able to visit her multiple times per month rather than just once etc.)
