Is there anyway to reprogram a Logitech mouse without G Hub?

I don’t understand how a company like Logitech make the worst mouse software on Earth. They have good build quality and sensors, but they can’t manage making a simple to use software for their products.

Yes, there's some 3rd party software that will program buttons but they can't do everything.

I have Razer mice and they're the same with bloated software that you need to maneuver to get around using.
