Is there any sense in opening yourself to people and trying make friends?

Sometimes i just want to work hard (meme) and mog people, make revenge on them etc etc. But at the same time, i cant hold my anger that long and i just forget about it and try to ascend,which is actually kinda more productive at my age. Everytime after talking to people and then argue with them i say to myself that i shouldnt be that kind with them and open myself to them, because they can betray me. Is this right position to forget about friendship forever and just play role? Or its actually ok but should talk less compromising evidence about me and just cut "bad" people out from my life?
Its not even about some child shit, i just legit need people in real life for having fun, sharing ideas and actually achieving something.
