I sometimes hear people tell me that I have a plethora of options in life, and therefore shouldn't give up on life and dig myself deeper down this rabbit hole. "There's so much to life for".
They obviously come from a bluepilled point of view, and assume that I will be able to ascend by just having a good personality etc. When they're talking about reasons to live, they're also referring to other options in life like careermaxxing, enjoying interests and all that jazz.
This has recently gotten me thinking: if we set aside the ascension option (next to impossible anyway), is there still any point in trying in life? Are other people entitled to tell us that we have countless options in life worth living for and that we must be grateful for that? I often feel guilty about the fact that I want to give up at life when there are other options in life besides getting a girlfriend.
For some, getting your dream job is a goal well worth pursuing, even in spite of inceldom. But for me, even if I could achieve great success in other kinds of areas in life, it still wouldn't make me fully satisfied with my life; It would ultimately only distract me from my fate of a forever lonely existence. The only thing which would make my life truly worth living would be to have a loving girlfriend and true friends and a family.
Should people feel bad for wanting to give up?
