This is obviously a difficult thing to qualify but, judging by suicide rates, ALL countries have more males killing themselves than females except for two: China and Bangladesh.
So what's the deal? Is it actually a bad deal to be born female in those countries? Or at least it was until recently? Keep in mind that the overwhelming majority of countries have male/female ratios of over 2, many 3 or 4. China and Bangladesh are at around 0.8.

iran, saudi arabia etc. every arab country where they dont have rights.
 
Inspite of the fact that women are put on a ridiculous pedestal here, I think India's a pretty shitty place for women because the men that worship them as goddesses would rape them if they came across them in a dark alley. And this isn't first world I regret fucking him so let's call it rape, it's third world leave her for dead rape.
