Discussion Is that true, that east Asia is even more look obsessed and hypergamous than the west?

I saw scientific research that claim loneliness among men in East Asia is even greater than in the west. Also, plastic surgery is way more popular in South Korea. Also, East Asian women are so disgusted by their men, that they are willing to accept even average white guy.
So, my question is: why is that a thing? Why countries like Japan or Korea are even more obsessed in look than west?

It is, they even get more plastic surgery per average than the West, it is a thing because they have an inferiority complex (which is confusing because niggers and curries suffered way more oppression and they don't seem THAT bad), which makes them try to be as close to whiteness as possible

I don’t think that’s true of Japan, but it is of Korea. But biologically they are all obsessed.
