is solid inner tubes any good?

They should exist, yet all the reviews say they suck - in one way or another...

I too have looked for a solid solution to bike tires.

Currently i use the thickest tr (thorn resistant) tubes i can get. And carry a spare one - just in case.

Then i fix it at home at my leasure.

For wheelbarrows the solid tires are ok. But for bikes they are either too hard or too soft. Then they get stuck on the rim often... Requiring a whole new wheel in a few years! (Because of wear)

Good luck with that! Read all the reviews from lots of sites before you pay too much for a shitty item!##!
