depends on what you mean by smart. like being knowledgeable about a variety of subjects or very good at problem solving and quick witted?

the first is obviously doable , what about the second
for second, try taking up subjects that involves logic like math and programming. reading brain teasers and playing logic games like chess may help.
I'm not sure if it's possible to increase your IQ. It's pure genetics.
