Basically, there is nothing new here. Not because forum is slowly dying and many old users left, but because space of discourse related to this specific topic is quite limited.
If you read 50 threads, you read them all. If you wrote 100-150 messages, most likely, you said everything you could said.
Therefore, for must of us .is:
- is not a source of new and interesting information
- certainly is not a source of motivation for IMPROOOVING
- sometimes a pure recriational mean, but lately i see more brutal gore videos rather than a worthy jokes. And I'm not a fan of gore.
- rarely source of emotional support, but people here usually don't express positive emotions and don't fake them.
So, why there is still a lot of users with thousands, tens of thousands of messages?
Because .IS is source of RELATABLE information, not new, not specifically interesting and recreational, but relatable information.
And if you think deeply and thoroughly, same mechanism applied to usual normi chit-chat, they just speak about relatable stuff hundreds and hundreds of times, not exploring anything new while doing it.
Thus, ultimately normies and active .is users operate on the same level in this regard, it's just content a bit different, since incel can't relate to normie and vice versa.
