Is religion partly just a cope to deal with social isolation?

All of religion throughout human history, even the supposedly "atheistic" ones like Buddhism that deny life ultimately having some supreme purpose, all involve the contact of spiritual entities.
Judeo-Christian sects? Yahweh, Jesus, the Saints, the Angels, the Demons, etc. all seem to intervene in human affairs and play a direct role in the spiritual growth.
Polytheistic / Pantheistic sects? The gods and other spiritual entities all intervene and meddle with human affairs
Vedic-derived sects? The devas or other spiritual mythical creatures intervene in human affairs

The human being, being a social animal, receives serotonin when they find acceptance amongst their human peers, and it brings fulfillment and meaning when a person genuinely feels like he is accepted for who he really is.

Human beings, of course, are completely unreliable for a type of social fulfillment that is long lasting. Perhaps those types of social arrangements never actually existed; they may be a product of a person's delusional perceptions (maybe you are just being bullied and it's an inside joke), or they are rooted in external circumstances (how much wealth you have, for example), or perhaps the friendship just inevitably ends due to foreseeable drama or a fatal character flaw - a person sleeps with your girl, or perhaps disrespects you, or you find out they have abhorrent political beliefs, etc.

What are the gods or these spiritual entities but just imaginary human beings? Whether they exist or not, we project our essential humanity onto these "things" in a way that makes them relatable to us. Saint Michael has eyes, clothes, a mouth, hair, carries a sword - a human weapon. As does Satan, except he's given horns, glowing eyes, a slithery tail, and a trident and not a sword.

Maybe religion is just the human being trying to conjure up, in our own minds, a level of serotonin fulfillment in a human being who loves us for who we are that never abandons us for who we are. And maybe they do exist, maybe they don't, but that seems to be the primary motivating factor.

Is it any wonder why ugly, dysgenic people tend to be attracted to religion and deep metaphysics? Maybe they are unable to find social fulfillment that an ordinary person would, in the course of their life, find, so they excessively develop their spiritual aspects in order to fabricate, in their own minds, social fulfillment that they so desperately lack.

Now I'm not saying that religion = dysgenics, I think human beings can only establish relationships on conditional things that fall through once those conditions end. At least the gods, angels, and demons will always have your back if you let them in. But it should come as no surprise that the ugliest, anti-social, poorest, and weakest individuals are the ones who will become hyper-religious as a coping mechanism to fill that void that an ordinary person does NOT HAVE.

An ordinary person gets a friend group in high school or college, fucks some women, and then settles down with a woman who's good enough, occasionally maintaining those friendships while prioritizing the raising of kids so the cycle of what was good about the ordinary person's life can repeat. Weirdos pursue deeper metaphysical truths and get involved with religious shit, occultism, or philosophy.

Chads are unironically the least religious ones, because their serotonin levels are at an all-time high, who needs imaginary social fulfillment as a conjuration of a person's mind when they experience it non-step. Chad always meets the conditioned fulfillment to establish friendships just from being looked at alone.

Holy shit this is brutal. I’ve never thought of this before, but it is probably all true.

being loved by a fictional character is the only type of love that can't be crushed by reality

Chad fucks whole cheerleading squad and goes to church twice a year believing he'll experience eternal bliss after he dies.

Incel lacks sex but finds pleasure in blind faith. Heck, jihadmaxx and delude yourself into thinking you'll get 70 virgins after your pathetic life!

Religion is cope, egocentrism, delusion, or some mix of each.

Religion is a hardcore blue pill. Especially christianity. look at every so called "christian nation" out there. ALL of them are infested with whoredom, greed, depressed people and etc. keeping the copium will do nothing for you but make you feel even more alienated by the religious creeps.
