For some reason I am struggling to breathe when I am literally doing nothing. I am sat in bed doomscrolling and I can't breathe properly for some reason. Is my body giving up on me or is this some sort of sign

Unironically true. I am constantly sick, summer, winter. Whatever season I feel physically weak and mentally ill

in the meantime put a little bit of vicks vapor rub under your nose and see if that helps
