I think the biggest hole in this perspective is the parallel historical accuracy. Most fantasy manga/anime take place during times equivalent to our medieval period. For a good historocal portrayal and or world building thay gets you invested, they would of course mirror medieval culture and philosophies. In addition, elves have tropes about the, that extend beyond anime and is in their fantasy conceptualization. Majority of anime and manga that go mainstream are normie fag chad simulators.

I like it for what it represents in relation to other isekais. All other tensei isekais are just loser reincarnated everything handed to him, yet the guy has a moral compass one to one with random well developed normies.
