After watching that movie I can see why. It's been a while since I watched it so I don't remember the exact plot, but apparently the main character Travis tries to assassinate a presidential candidate and that's where Hinckley gained inspiration to shoot Reagan.

But burgers have a hard time telling between movies and reality tbh
