is it wrong to want to convert to islam just to control women?

I still believe in God/Allah.
The controlling women aspect of it would just be more important to me honestly.

If it were possible I would rent a house in some Islamic shithole and go spend 2 months a year there living under Sharia law. I'd even pray 10x a day if they ask me to. It would be amazing I'm sure to not be at the bottom rung of society.

Women used to be the bottom rung. Now it's us. For someone to win, someone else must lose. We're the losers here.

Across history, many men converted to Islam out of material and sexual self-interest... One example I can think of is the priests of Zoroaster in Persia. They suddenly felt the need to adore Allah when Persia was conquered by a Muslim army.

Personally, I feel it is dangerous to gamble with religious belief in such a way. Allah, if He exists, may not look kindly upon someone who chose Him (against Christianity or another religion) mostly out of worldly interests.

Besides, Muslim countries tend to suck if you like a minimum of living comfort. And I would be too afraid to end up on /r/watchpeopledie after a slight social mistake.
