Is it true that alcohol has the opposite effect on autists? Making them act more neurotypical rather than more retarded

I’ve never seen or heard that much about drunk autists online, autists actually drink less than neurotypicals. You’d think it’d be more because of how shit autism is .

But since autists tend to be more logical than NTs, perhaps the idea of consuming something that will make you temporarily dumber and more risky in exchange for feeling better doesn’t seem appealing.

Especially when there are other and better means for temporary escape. Not to shit on alcohol though because I don’t know how good it can feel to others. I wasn’t able to get into it the two times I tried it, wasn’t my thing.

It was a while ago since i drank in public with other people, like 8 years ago or so. I'm only slightly autistic and i have some soccial anxiety. If i remember correctly i felt more relaxed and had an easier time talking to foids but at the same time the whole thing felt retarded. I hate drinking and the whole culture behind it.

When I drank liquor for the first time, I didn't really become more NT. Just very euphoric and in an almost baby or dog like state I guess.
