Discussion Is it toxic for a parent not to accept their child being euthanized if he is in a very severely disabled state?

My mother showed me a video of a girl in a practically vegetable state once and I suggested that it would be better if they killed her, she got relatively mad at me and said this is wrong

I wonder if one day I have an accident and remain in a vegetable state for the rest of my life, my parents would rather force me to live than be euthanized
I know it's painful to have someone you love dead, because there's no going back, but this decision is selfish
