We are already 1 inch taller when we wake up in the morning.
Maybe you can get more out of it if your growth plates arent fully closed yet..... Id advice workout a lot (running for example), preferably outdoors in the sunlight, drink raw milk and get at least 8 hours of sleep.
It does not need to exactly be 8 hours, but the point is dont neglect your sleep, get as much as you possibly can.
Avoid stress and eat a well balanced diet too.

So far the most growth I've seen, on someone who's epiphyseal plates have closed or "almost" closed, grew 10 cm or 4 inches from the age of 18 to 24
If you are 1.79-1.78, you can change it a little, but this is only for self-confidence.
