I barely can afford anything anymore. I take many supplements to combat my illness, and I was paying around 75 in 2017. Now I'm paying 560! It's unsustainable.
Food has also increased exponentially as well, and rent.
My copes? Bygone era. I use to watch local mlb, soccer games, and now I have to buy about 8 streaming devices just to watch 2/3rds of the games wirh piss poor commentaty and inteusive ads. 600+ dollars a month! So I destroyed my talmudvision.
All I can do is read books in candle light.
But boomers tell me, "everything has never been better!"
And this does account for inflation when wages remain the same, if not dipped due to lower purchasing power.
Everyone seemed so much more happy in 2010's, I could at least talk to my neighbors.

They accuse you of things you didn't do. Such as blaming me for disturbing their rowdy dogs by walking my dog (who doesn't bark), which got their house called on by a sophisticated inbred winery. Police didn't care.
Then they set up a camera and told me, "I watch you walk all the way down the road, I can see everything."
I'm like, "we had a great convo in 2018 about trees and flowers, why the fuck are you holding your phone up to my face, filming me like I raped your dogs."
This is a public road, mind you!
