I'm not trying to romanticize the past but everything seems to have gotten worse now from how it was back then. Media, movies, jobs and wages, how people treated each other, etc. Like movies, there are some good ones like Joker but most just suck. If watch a movie from even as early as the 90's it's just a different feel and experience compared to today's movies. Heck even commercials are crappy compared to older ones. And don't even get me started on how the internet has changed.

I remember back in the early 2000's internet was still young and we didnt have any of the social media that we have now. And the 2000's where great.
But after around 2010-2011 all the social media apps like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter came out.

Back in the day if something offended them they couldn't really do anything about it, but now they can go on Twitter and cause a mass spergout and cancel whatever offends them

Facebook became big around 2006-2007 and the beginning of the end was My Space exploding around 2004/05 as that's what got females onto the internet.
