Is it just me, or are there lots of banning happening recently?

I’m seeing lots of posts in the main thread from banned members, I’m high profile established members and minnow newbie members. Are the mods acting stricter on the rules or have new rules been instated? Or am I just imagining this upsurge in ban activity?

Well we are humans, anyone can make a mistake, but this whole strict policy is actually a good thing, it keeps this place running. If they forgive mistakes by the number of posts or the quality of threads we would be doomed. Rules are there for a reason.

I guess you’re right. But now with Fontaine on hiatus and everybody’s favourite manlet being banned this place seems awfully quiet.

Having too high posts per day should be an auto ban imo. I dont trust any of those posters that come here out of the blue acting like they have been here for a long while and reach 1k in less than a month

Did you personally dislike the manlet king and his followers? There are some who arrive with a high post count who are fairly low-key and easy going, like Gremlincel.

Not only do they ban you for BS reasons. If any other fellow member questions the ban, they delete the thread. It happened yesterday. @FiveFourManlet was banned because some mod was in a bad mood. @NEETAndTidy made a thread asking why. The mods deleted the thread.

Agreeing with this. People have no idea how to integrate into a forum. You should have to lurk a while before you can post. I suggested somewhere in the meta section that you should have posting restrictions on your first couple of weeks on an account. (For example, it took me more than 2 days to make my first post after account creation, and I lurked for a bit before the account creation.) That way it ensures that people who are truly incel and dedicated to becoming a good poster here stay around and the people here to just spam or even VRP lose their interest.

Additionally, most people rarely put effort into their posts. Why bother to say anything if it has no substance or content? All it does is spam the forum. If you want this to be a popularity contest or a little "friend group" where all the cool kids hang out, may I recommend reddit.com. They have a scoring system for posts that filters the shit to the top.

I know that the kind of people that post on this forum are reddit (shithole of the internet). I wish the people here could leave the Reddit behind sometimes.
