It's cool if you like fight scenes and good special effects. They're fairly shallow from a story perspective and it's a red flag if someone takes them obsessively seriously.
The story is very straightforward and is very clear "good v evil" but it's overall still enjoyable
I also like how they blend sci fi and fantasy
It takes a more grounded approach making it more 'real' than having magic space wizards with laser swords. It doesn't feel very star wars until the second season when you get some of the other characters from rogue one slop.
Also the Empire isn't retarded this time and can do things that large empires do quite competently but it feels kinda
