I am heavily considering getting into waifu culture and getting a dakimakura (body pillow) of my #1 waifu. But at the same time, I have to ask, is this simping? Because even though she is fictional, she is still a woman. And if she were a real human being she would reject me and be a Chadsexual. Those are just the facts. And much of the way people behave around/to their waifus is similar to how you would treat a woman, such as buying her things, complimenting her, taking her places, etc.

But at the same time, to me it seems like a really good cope. A fictional waifu can provide some of the things I unable to get from a woman due to my inceldom. And it can provide a good outlet for my romantic, emotional, and sexual energy.
