To me, it seems like it would completely restrict your life. When you have kids, your life suddenly has to revolve around them - you can't just go off and do your own thing in your own time; you're basically at the mercy of their every whim. It sounds horrifying to me. I would say it's effectively cucking oneself because you're imposing huge restrictions on your life.
