I didn't even know this site existed in 2018 either, but going back and viewing posts from 2018, the difference is massive compared to posts here now. Back then people actually put time and effort into creating posts, especially with evidence such as statistics, videos, etc.

haha same here, i think the change is due to how very fringe internet sub cultures are becoming more and more mainstream and terms used by those communites are slowly becoming a part of everyday internet lingo
