foids were never selected for anything other than spreading their legs for chad so you can't really expect anything more from them. in the past, as a male you needed to be a member of a tribe to survive, and a high-status member of a tribe to reproduce. to be a member of a tribe you had to provide something of value (which means men were selected for ability) and establish trust with other members, empathy probably played a big role in that. foids never had to do either of those because their value is their holes, and establishing trust isn't necessary because they were too weak to survive on their own and submissive by nature so the threat level from them was minimal.
