Jeez, there doesn’t seem to be anything good coming out these days. Or maybe it’s just because I’m a poor peasant and don’t have a PC.

Even then, on console and mobile there used to be so many good games. I’ve never struggled to find a new game to buy.

Games don't interest me anymore, I haven't played anything for like 2 months now

Yes. Fortunately you can just play older games. There's tons of them and they're all free if you pirate them

Yes

Nothing is interesting me tbh, just like movies but worse

Most games these days are unoriginal, derivative garbage.

Nah pc gaming is also atrocious now, i only play old shit with very few new games. Abiotic Factor is only of few rare new games i have tried this year and it's still on consoles. We are way past the gold age of gaming and now we are in the zombie age of gaming where everything is just derivative of older titles and barely anything truly new can get released. Beyond Citadel was pretty unique and got released this year.

I've noticed that a lot of gamers are still stuck in the mindset that it's 2011 and "indie games" are synonymous with "garbage". Once you actually let go of that mindset and venture into the indie gaming community, you'll find that there are many, MANY amazing games out there

99% of them are dogshit roguelike-metroidvania-cardbattler games, only 1% of them are trying to do something new

Look deeper than the surface, bro. They also have quirky Earthbound themed RPGs about depression :lul:

Fuck that normie foid crap. Under the surface i see only copy pasted games i really need to dig for entire day like crazy to find something playable. I may as well touch the earth's core and doom entire world.

I hate most indie games because of how soy-coded they look and feel. There's something quirky about them, even when they try to go for a serious and mature tone, it feels like they were made by very soft and sheltered soyboys.
