I am trying to reason myself to rope (I can't handle inceldom) and want to know whether that is the case. Anyways, if I rope, I want to die while I'm unconscious (ie. in my sleep).

If that's the case, then it's lifefuel because that means that, (at least in the case of dying in your sleep), what's "after death" is just a continuation of sleep, yet sleep is relaxing, not painful, not agonizing. Most importantly, it's not boring nor long (since you have no sense of time while sleeping), and that's pretty much the only thing that matters to me. (Give me anything that's not long and not painful, and i'll do it).

Does anybody have any strong arguments for or against dying your sleep being the same as sleeping forever (more looking against)?

no, bc there is still brain activity when you sleep.

Theres brain activity when ur dead (its getting eaten by maggots). So your point doesnt make sense, because you didnt say how that brain activity is relevant

the brain activity is different, duh, so the two instances are different.
you dream when you sleep and there is brain activity to indicate that.

Im talking about deep sleep like a coma, or else I wouldnt even ask the question since dreaming is clearly different from being totally unconscious when your dead.

you didn't specify that. i can't read your mind if you don't put it in the post.

It's not sleep you have some awareness thete, it's more like losing consciousness when time just stops for you

Don't you live in the first world OP? Just jump off a tall building theory

No, because i can only be convinced that dying in ur sleep = sleep forever. Not other forms of suicide since you can clearly notice the discontinuity and its painful anyways so ill chicken out.

What if you get real high or super fucked up that you don't give a shit before jumping?

U can notice things though. I want to go in a coma then something to kill me, throw off a building etc.

Then maybe try to get dutch citizenship ask their gov to do it for you? I think euthanasia is legal over there.

Have you ever been under general anesthesia? It’s legit full unconsciousness. You are still semi-conscious when you sleep. I hope death is just eternal anesthesia.
