Is Dragon's Dogma 2 worth it?

I really liked the first game, but I heard the second one was released buggy as hell or something. Anyone know if that's been fixed & if all the hate on it was warranted or not? I don't really trust most game reviews anymore.
Even if it's not a great game, it's only like $30 rn so wondering if it's at least $30 worth of good lol

Fantasy RPG. The first one is pretty old now, but it was probably my fav that was around at the time. I don't know how the sequel is, though
